In 2023, under the direction of the engineering regulators and the Board of Engineers Canada, the Canadian Engineering Qualifications Board undertook a review of the national Guideline on the Code of Ethics. While this document is non-binding to practitioners, it synthesizes regulator codes from across the country to facilitate mobility and good practice nationwide. It also provides the framework used by the majority of regulators to define their own codes.
